The space

The private, picturesque backyard sits quietly on one acre of wooded land that includes hill country view. You may see deers visit during your stay. Whether you want to relax or work on your powerpoint slideshow, you'll enjoy a beautiful view while doing so.

THE AMENITIES

The house is newly-built, designed with upgraded finishes and modern stainless steel appliances. The property is furnished with brand new industrial-style furniture and provides all of the top comforts that you would expect from a top-rated host.

The house can sleep up to 9. One King Tempur-pedic bed (2), one queen bed (2), one set of full over twin/twin bunk beds (3), and a twin day-bed w/ trundle (2) in the office/den. Max weight of 250lbs on bunk/twin bed. Plus, a pack-n-play for your little one! Comfortable memory foam mattresses were selected med-firm based on popular demand. Within the house, you should expect to find:

  • Standing office desk with a charging station.

  • Wide dining table with seating for 8+.

  • Console table with 4 stools overlooking the pool to enjoy your morning complimentary coffee with our 12-cup coffee maker or - Nespresso coffee machine with milk frother. Creamer, cane sugar, Splenda, syrup, ground coffee, filters, are provided. Bring your favorite milk or creamer if you prefer.

  • For non-coffee lovers, enjoy a variety of teas and a glass teapot.

  • Large kitchen island with seating for 4 to converse with your favorite chef. Common spices are provided during your stay.

  • Fully equipped and abundantly stocked kitchen. Toaster, tea kettle, blender, rice cooker, air fryer, crockpot, roaster, you name it! Ask us if you need something specific.

  • Dinnerware/silverware for 8+ people.

  • 65" smart TV with fast wifi internet. Sign-on to your own streaming account.

  • In-unit washer and dryer with detergent for your use.

  • Electric keyboard.

Other things to note

Guest pass may be granted for private parks and marinas access. Vehicle license plate, make, model and year of vehicle required to register prior to arrival. Please discuss with host.

The home is not child-proof and has many areas unsafe for children (unlatched dressers, large heavy sliding door and unfenced pool), so please be aware if you choose to bring your little ones that you are doing so at your own risk and must keep an eye on them at all times.

Our pool is heated from November to May. It is set at 80 degrees F with a 20 degrees variance based on the ambient temperature. The electric heat pump becomes inefficient heating an 11,000 gallon body of water with ambient temperatures below 60 degrees F. It is detrimental to run the heat pump with temperatures below 55 degrees F as the coils will freeze then break making the heat pump unavailable for the remainder of the stay. Electric heat pumps require heat in the ambient air to transfer it to the water running through them. Therefore, this bonus amenity is not a guarantee and a refund cannot be honored should the pool temperature not meet your expectation. Mother nature has to work with us to keep the pool heated consistently.

Tenant assumes all risk when Tenant and/or Tenant's guest use the pool. Landlord and Landlord's agent are not liable for use of the pool by Tenant and Tentant's guests.

Bugs and wildlife info:

Our place is located in a hot and humid environment immersed with wildlife, including the creepy crawly kind. Depending on the time of the year and weather conditions, guests may encounter mosquitoes, bees, gnats, moths, wasps, hornets, horse flies, lovebugs, ants, spiders, beetles, American cockroaches, ladybugs, stink bugs, centipedes, millipedes, scorpions, etc. While we do utilize regular pest, snake and mosquito control services, we are unable to offer any guarantee against or refunds for the occasional bugs that may make it inside. We do our best to prevent infestations and guests can help by keeping doors closed and disposing of trash and storing food in a responsible manner.

We strongly advise that all guests review and understand the house rules listed in detail on the listing for this reservation carefully prior to arriving at the property. By booking this reservation, you and your party are agreeing to comply with all of the terms of the house rules for the entirety of the reservation and any extensions. Please note that we enforce our noise-related house rules very carefully. Quiet hours are between 10:00pm - 6:00am. Any noise complaint from our neighbors can result in the reservation being vacated without a refund. In addition, this is a non-smoking and pet-restricted property. There is a fine of $500 if there's evidence of smoking (even in patio) or pets in or near property. Late check-out fee of $50 per 15 minutes interval.

Our family has called Austin, TX, home for years, and we’ve always had a special connection with the Texas Hill Country. After countless adventures, we knew we wanted to create a serene escape here.

Lago Vista Vibe is our dream brought to life. We’ve poured love into every detail, from the peaceful outdoor spaces to the family-friendly amenities to make it a wonderful place for a family & friends getaway. The location is perfect to enjoy a slice of the Texas Hill Country while being close to the lake, natural parks, great hiking spots, and family-friendly restaurants, wineries and more.
